As an individual and representative of Cracknell, participating in conferences is always a valuable experience, where many professional relationships are made and ideas exchanged. 2010 is believed to be the tipping point where water consumption will begin to outstrip supply. I will be discussing at the Seminar Theatre at Gulf Landscaping how the UAE's landscapes will adapt and respond to the water availability in the region.

The Emirates Green Building Council is an independent non-profit forum that shapes policies for the built environment and facilitates collaborative solutions to promote sustainable practices in the UAE. Landscaping is an area of high water consumption, the reduction of which is of particular interest to us. We are delighted to support the Gulf Landscaping exhibition which will look at ways in which this issue is being addressed.
